monthly round up

march 2022 🐀

hello,

march is over, that was quick. super interesting and strange how time works. the year is already one quarter finished. ooft.

at the end of each month i’ll do a round up of all the things that made up the month for me: music, books, movies, material things. honestly, this is another thing for future me to look back and reflect: ah yes that was that period of my life.

me thinking i have some sort of influence, my audience is literally my sister and close friends.

the grip enja umanzor has on me and the way she styles things… unmatched. so i’ve been wearing big ribbons in my hair paired with white socks and mary janes.

i was able to get a sample of the charlotte tilbury viral tiktok flawless filter thing. and i get it, i do, you got me charlotte. i like wearing it with my skin tint but also don’t mind wearing it by itself.

i’m looking forward to the april heaven drop. the way in which this brand draws me in - their variety of celebrity endorsements and collabs with other fashion labels… i’m always keeping an eye out on what they do next. the excitement of a drop is thrilling, especially with the time difference, i have to wake up at some ridiculous time. i love seeing what gets sold really quickly, what takes a few days to sell. seeing if anyone is reselling on platforms like depop and grailed and if they’ve increased the prices exorbitantly. it’s so fascinating, i was talking to my friend cole about it - the brand is huge in LA but not many people know about it in australia. maybe it’s just feeding my “i’m different” ego… interesting.
